Belgium

Bruges

A beautiful city surrounded by water that is quaint but touristy. However, this is a place everyone needs to see when visiting Belgium. If you decide to come  here, you should stay in the center of town on one of the beautiful canals. This will give you such lovely experience you will take home with you and remember for years.

Brussels

One of the best places we found when visiting Brussels was staying in the Saint Cathrine area near the St. Cathrine Cathedral. This area offered beautiful reflection pools, wonderful outdoor terraces to eat and drink at--all while feeling like you were a local and not a tourist. This place is also just a short 10 minute walk from all the main attractions in the city center.

Ghent

This college town is much like Bruges, but less touristy and more beautiful. We recommend coming here over any other city in Belgium. If you only could visit one city, this one would be it! Hands down!! So when you are staying here, you must stay near the cathedral on the water. This gives you all the beauty one could take in all in one spot. DON'T MISS THIS CITY WHEN VISITING BELGIUM!

Leuven

This place is also a college town. We can't really recommend any one location to stay. However, to make things easy staying near the train station would be perfect if you don't want to carry your bags a far distance to your accommodation near the center.

Liege

Stay on the outskirts of town here because when we were here we really didn't feel all that safe in the center of town at night. We actually even saw a person trying to break into our vehicle. Luckily we were staying on the outskirts of town. This allowed for a pretty drive in and out of town and gave us a great option you wouldn't normally think of as being great!
